Rain Chains

Rain chains really dress up a home.  They replace the tradtional metal or vinyl downspouts that are currently used on most Utah homes.  They are aesthetically pleasing to the eye and are functional at the same time.  Rain chains come in many different styles and accent a home beautifully.  As the water is guided down the chains it sounds like a waterfall, and is very soothing to listen to.  You can use a bucket, basin or rain barrel to collect the water at the bottom.

Rain chains originated in Japan hundreds of years ago, they called them Kusari Doi.  The Japanese would use these rain chains to collect water to have in their homes, for everyday use.
